Jeff Lindor speaking on CBS Mornings during a special event on how to talk to kids about consent and peer pressure
As seen on CBS Mornings
Why the G-Code

Hope isn't a plan. Preparation is.

On CBS Mornings, Jeff Lindor joined a national conversation about how we talk to young men about consent and peer pressure. Parents kept asking the same question: who is actually teaching our sons this before they leave home?

The G-Code is Gentlemen's Factory's answer. G is for Gentlemen, and every young man in the program writes and presents his own personal code for how he'll treat people, read situations and act when it counts. It's preventive, hopeful and practical. We don't shame boys; we prepare them.

Consent

What it means, clearly: legally, ethically and in real life, including how alcohol changes everything.

Courage

Practiced, word-for-word scripts for stepping in when a friend, a teammate or a group chat crosses a line.

Awareness

Read the room, have a plan, know when to leave. Parties, rides, phones and digital footprints.

Character

He writes, presents and commits to his own personal G-Code, and a pod of peers holds him to it.

The Cohorts

Four cohorts. Ten seats each.

Every cohort meets live on Zoom, once a week, with cameras on. Young men are grouped by age so a 13-year-old and an 18-year-old are never in the same conversation.

One principle. One live exercise. One real-world assignment.

Young Men · 6 weeks

High school track shown. The junior high track covers the same ground at an age-appropriate level: respect, boundaries, digital respect, courage and self-control.

  1. WK 01

    The Man You're Becoming

Values, character vs. reputation, and a first draft of his personal G-Code.

  2. WK 02

    Consent, Clearly

Clear, freely given, ongoing, and withdrawable at any time. Why alcohol and incapacitation change everything.

  3. WK 03

    Read the Room

A party walkthrough, group dynamics, and digital awareness. He builds his own Party Plan.

  4. WK 04

    Courage: The Upstander

The 5 Ds of bystander intervention, role-played until the words come naturally.

  5. WK 05

    Consequences & Accountability

A guest expert explains how campus conduct processes and the law actually work.

  6. WK 06

    Campus Ready: My G-Code

He presents his final G-Code to his pod and earns his certificate.

Parents & Guardians · 4 weeks

For moms, dads and guardians of sons 11–18. You don't need to have the perfect talk. You need an ongoing one.

  1. WK 01

    The Landscape

What campus, party and digital culture look like now, and why boys go quiet.

  2. WK 02

    The Conversation

Scripts by age: what to say, what not to say, and how to handle the eye-roll.

  3. WK 03

    Parties, Alcohol & Phones

Monitoring vs. trust, and the "call me, no questions asked" agreement.

  4. WK 04

    Raising the Upstander

Modeling respect at home, and what to do if your son discloses, witnesses or is accused.

Every Friday, every family gets a short recap of what their son covered (never personal disclosures) plus one question to ask at dinner.
What He Leaves With

Specific tools, not just a conversation.

His personal G-Code

Five lines he writes, refines and presents, printed on a wallet card.

A Party Plan

Who he's with, how he gets home, his exit line, and his check-in.

"Hard sentences"

Practiced scripts for stepping in, so courage doesn't depend on improvising.

A GF certificate

Plus a pod of peers and an invitation to the G-Code alumni circle.

FAQs

Questions parents ask.

Is the content age-appropriate for junior high students?

Yes. The junior high cohort focuses on respect, boundaries, asking permission, digital respect and standing up for others. It is not explicit. The high school cohorts go deeper on consent, alcohol, parties and campus conduct, and grades 9–10 and 11–12 meet separately.

Who leads the sessions?

Jeff Lindor, founder of Gentlemen's Factory, leads every session. A licensed clinician co-facilitates every student session, and guest experts join for specific topics.

Are sessions recorded?

Student sessions are never recorded. Cameras stay on, and two adults are present at all times.

What if my son misses a session?

Attending 5 of 6 sessions plus submitting a final G-Code earns the certificate. If he misses a week, his facilitator sends a short catch-up assignment.

Do you offer payment plans or scholarships?

Yes. Every option can be paid in three installments, and a limited number of sponsored scholarship seats are available. Ask about either in your reservation.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. The G-Code is a preventive education program. If your family needs clinical or legal support, our team will point you to the right professionals.
